I had the honor of capturing Emily + Tim’s wedding day in July of this year at RU's Farm at Healdsburg Country Gardens but, before the wedding date we headed to some of their favorite spots in San Francisco. It was a blast getting to know them before their wedding day and I look forward to sharing their wedding day with you.
Another totally amazing couple! I am so fortunate with the amazing people I have the chance to meet. My 2017 couples totally rocked. You can see Bryn + David's wedding day which I blogged a little while ago. It rocked with love and plenty of little guest kids (which i looove to capture too) at Ru's Farm in Healdsburg. Bryn + David what can I say.. you just make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Thank-you Heald Wedding Consulting for connecting us!
I was about to blog Ash + Mike's awesome wedding....and then I realized I had not even blogged their engagement session, which happened on a beautiful overcast afternoon. Ash + mike were really drawn to the The Barn at Green Valley which is local to them. I can see why they love it! The Barn really is beautiful and in a peaceful setting of vineyards and hills. We had a blast getting to know each other and i feel so lucky to have been apart of their wedding day. Thank-you Heald Wedding Consulting for connecting us!
Here is a little something i don't do too often...... In home lifestyle engagement sessions, and i love them with all the challenges they bring. I was so happy to spend some time getting to know Cathrine + Trevor before their wedding day at Allied Arts Guild in Palo Alto. All the way from .. and representing Michigan, now settled in California with their two cat babies Dante + Kitten. Here are a few of my favorite images from the session.
Another gorgeous couple! For these two, it was pretty much love at first sight. I love hearing the stories of how couples met..... and their adventures continue..... Life and love make such great stories. We were set to shoot at Sutro baths, its such a great location as many of you know, so many elements to capture. We were so happy the rains cleared for the day and we set out for the location..... not taking in to account the crazy wind that might be happening. I love a little wind, don't get me wrong! Wind can bring so much magical movement but, It was crazy windy, we couldn't even stand on the breaker wall without loosing our balance, the sand was blowing and watery eyes all around. I am so happy we were able to capture a few great images there. We moved on to Alameda a week later for some dreamy light.
These guys are full of adventure and travel. It takes a special pair of souls to pack up and leave everything behind for 6 months to explore parts of the world, and that is exactly what Morgana + John did. They have so many amazing stories to share and i am excited to join them in their next big journey, a wedding in October. We took a few hours on a beautiful San Francisco day to explore parts of this wonderful city and its surrounds.
