Documentary Wedding Photography, Made to Feel Effortless

San Francisco Bay Area  - Northern California

Black and white wedding portrait of a bride and groom, her veil floating in the wind, creating a dreamy and cinematic moment in Union Square

Quiet. Observational. Unscripted.

It’s the laughter or tears that surface mid-vow.

The quiet moments between the noise.

The touch of a hand that steadies you.

Your wedding day isn’t about performing — it’s about being.

I photograph the in-between: the real, fleeting moments that make your story yours.

Documentary at heart, with a subtle editorial touch — so every image feels natural and timeless.

For the Laid-Back, the Free Spirits, and the Ones Who Just Want to Celebrate Their Way.

Your wedding isn’t about traditions unless they mean something to you. It’s about the people, the energy, and the moments that will live on long after the party ends. Whether it’s a backyard celebration with your closest people, a mountaintop elopement at sunrise, or a dance floor that stays packed till the very last song—I’m here for it.

Weddings aren’t about perfection; they’re about feeling. The deep belly laughs, the spontaneous tears, the way your partner looks at you when no one else is watching. Whatever you have planned—big or small, wild or intimate—I can’t wait to document it exactly as it unfolds.

Based in Northern California, always up for an adventure.

kind words

We had an absolute blast on our wedding day, not just because we felt all the love from each other and our guests, but our wedding photographer Emma was AWESOME! The venue, the lighting, and the unique photos captured from that day are the memories we will always have with us.

Emma is super laid back and easy to work with. She wants to bring out the best in you and your partner with natural elements and real life feel. She really helped capture our happiness and we're so grateful for that.

Emma is fantastic. A great presence, and a wonderful asset to any wedding or event. She is patient with crazies and creates incredible images. Personality wise, she is cool, funny, laid back, friendly and interacts well with everyone. I get teary eyed every time I look at our photos... in the best possible way :)
